2. Veterinary Care & Medical Judgment
Veterinary services are provided based on the professional judgment of the attending veterinarian.
Scheduling or purchasing a service does not guarantee that the requested treatment, vaccination, medication, diagnostic test, or procedure will be performed. We reserve the right to postpone, modify, or decline a service when the veterinarian or veterinary team determines that doing so is appropriate for the health or safety of the patient.
Pets presenting with signs of illness—including vomiting, diarrhea, coughing, sneezing, lethargy, fever, difficulty breathing, or other concerning symptoms—may be declined for routine vaccination or preventive services and referred to a full-service veterinary hospital.
Additional diagnostic testing, treatment, or referral may be recommended when clinically appropriate.
3. Client Responsibilities
By using our veterinary services, you agree to:
-
Provide accurate and complete information regarding your pet
-
Disclose known medical conditions, allergies, medications, previous reactions, behavioral concerns, and relevant medical history
-
Provide accurate vaccination and medical records when requested
-
Follow pre-procedure, discharge, medication, and aftercare instructions
-
Inform our team of changes in your pet's condition before a scheduled service or procedure
-
Maintain safe control of your pet while waiting for or receiving services
You represent that you are the pet's owner or are otherwise legally authorized by the owner to consent to veterinary care.
4. Vaccinations & Preventive Services
Vaccinations and preventive treatments are intended for pets that are sufficiently healthy to receive them.
The veterinarian or veterinary team may decline or postpone vaccination or other preventive services if a pet shows signs of illness or if there is another medical reason that makes treatment inappropriate.
No vaccine, medication, preventive product, diagnostic test, or medical procedure can be guaranteed to prevent, diagnose, or treat every condition in every patient.
5. Spay, Neuter & Anesthesia Services
Pets scheduled for surgery or anesthesia must meet our applicable age, weight, health, fasting, and other eligibility requirements.
Before a procedure, clients may be required to complete and sign separate surgical, anesthesia, treatment, or informed-consent forms. Those forms are incorporated into the terms governing that particular service.
Veterinary anesthesia and surgery carry inherent risks, including unexpected reactions, bleeding, infection, anesthetic complications, and, rarely, serious injury or death. Specific risks and recommendations may vary by patient and procedure.
The veterinarian may postpone or cancel a procedure if the patient is determined to be an inappropriate candidate on the scheduled date.
Additional charges may apply for circumstances that require additional time, medications, supplies, monitoring, or treatment, including pregnancy or other conditions identified before or during a procedure.
6. At-Home Euthanasia & Aftercare
At-home euthanasia services are provided by appointment and are not intended to replace emergency veterinary care.
Our euthanasia and aftercare options may include:
-
Euthanasia with family-directed aftercare
-
Euthanasia with communal cremation
-
Euthanasia with private cremation and return of cremated remains
-
Memorial items when included in the selected package
Cremation and aftercare services may involve independent third-party providers.
Families choosing to retain their pet after euthanasia are responsible for arranging appropriate aftercare. This may include making independent cremation arrangements or home burial where permitted by applicable local laws and ordinances.
Service availability, travel charges, weekend or holiday fees, cremation charges, and package pricing may vary and will be disclosed when applicable.
We do not provide overnight or emergency euthanasia calls.
7. Diagnostic Testing & Laboratory Services
Laboratory and diagnostic testing may be performed in-house or through third-party laboratories.
No diagnostic test is 100% accurate. False-positive, false-negative, inconclusive, or unexpected results may occur. Additional testing or evaluation may be recommended depending on the results and your pet's clinical condition.
Turnaround times provided for laboratory results are estimates and may be affected by third-party laboratory processing.
8. Prescription & Preventive Products
Prescription medications and certain preventive products are dispensed only when legally and medically appropriate.
Clients are responsible for administering products according to the directions provided and informing us of known allergies, reactions, medications, or relevant medical conditions.
Product availability is not guaranteed and may change based on manufacturer or distributor availability.
9. Appointments, Walk-Ins & Scheduling
Services may be available by appointment, walk-in, or both depending on the service and daily capacity.
Walk-in availability is not guaranteed. Patients may be accepted based on staffing, patient volume, medical appropriateness, and available supplies or appointment capacity.
Scheduled appointment times may occasionally be delayed due to veterinary medical needs, emergencies involving patients already under our care, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
10. Pricing & Payment
Prices displayed on our website or marketing materials are subject to change.
Payment is generally due at the time services are provided unless another arrangement has been expressly approved.
Additional charges may apply when additional services, medications, diagnostics, supplies, travel, aftercare, or treatment become necessary or are authorized by the client.
We may use third-party payment processors to securely process transactions.
11. Cancellations, No-Shows & Refunds
Appointment-specific cancellation or rescheduling requirements may apply and will be communicated through our website, booking system, appointment confirmation, or applicable service policy.
Late cancellations and no-shows may result in cancellation fees, forfeiture of deposits, or requirements for future deposits.
Veterinary services that have already been performed are generally non-refundable. Medications, vaccines, preventives, laboratory testing, and other medical products or services may be subject to additional return or refund restrictions.
12. Emergency & Sick Pet Care
The Fur Seasons Mobile Vet PLLC is not an emergency veterinary hospital.
If your pet is experiencing a medical emergency, severe illness, significant trauma, difficulty breathing, uncontrolled bleeding, seizures, collapse, suspected poisoning, or another urgent condition, seek care from an appropriate full-service or emergency veterinary facility.
Our availability should not be relied upon for emergency treatment.
