You choose where your pet is most comfortable — their favorite bed, your lap, a quiet room, or another peaceful area of your home.

Your pet will first receive sedation to relieve anxiety and discomfort and allow them to gradually become sleepy and deeply relaxed. Pre-euthanasia sedation is commonly used so the pet is comfortably asleep before the final medication is administered.Â

Peaceful Euthanasia
Once your pet is fully relaxed, the veterinarian will administer the final euthanasia medication. Your pet will remain unaware and comfortable as they peacefully pass.
